A MOTHER'S LOVE.
Her love is everlasting; Though troubles d*rk befall, She holds to you a helping hajad— She'll be your friend thro' all. You forget the world has scorned you, That friends have turned away, When mother's welcome greet? you. At the closing 1 of the day. You tell her all your troubles. And she answers with a smile, Takes your hand and tells you softly, " 'Twill be all right hi a while." And yem feel the burden lifted, And your heart again is light ; With a love as tiue as mother's Things must be always bright. May MacMahos. Dunedin, August, 1906.
