Getting away to a Splendid start, Morton just led at 50 yards, fend won comfortably by three-quarters of .to yard. Time, 10 2-ssec. r 220 Yards.— C. H. George, S.L.H., 2; J. B. ■Densham, L.A.C., 3. Halswell showed remarkable form. Taking the lead in the <baok straight, he cam© right home with a jmagnificont spurt, and won by 10 yards.
