1 Betting: sto 2 agst Be.llis, 6to 1 Isis, 1Q to 1 Revelation, 12 to 1 Cardinal. Bellis was the first away, but he soon gave place to Cardinal and Borsdale, who together led to the back, where Loddon and Tarpin fell. Corinthus had previously come to grief. Passing the stand the second time the order was: Cardinal, Borsdale, afid Officer abreast, these being followed by Isis, Bellis, and Revelation. Borsdale and Cardinal made play passing tho stand the last time, Isis and Officer being their nearest attendants. Going out of the straight Cardinal was half a length ahead of Boisdale, with the Officer, a length away, third, and then Isis, Blueskin, and Bellis. A serieß of falls followed, Arezzo, The General Borsdale, Bellis, Officer, and Young* Creawick all coming to grief. Cardinal led round the far turn, closely followed by Isis. The latter got in front before the sod wall was reached, and came away and won in a canter by eight lengths, Cardinal beating Revelation by half a length. Time, Bmin In the Oma Plate, Riversdale (7.7) beat Chivalry (8.11; by Lalf a length after a splendid finish Bundah went out favourite at 4 to 1, and Chivalry at 5 to 1,- and Riversdale at 10 to 1.
