CLEARING SALE.
Donald Reid and Co. (Limited) loport having held a clearing sale on account of Mr David Sutherland on the premises at Roslyn on Thursday, when, owing to Mr Sutherland having disposed of his business, everything was offered for bona fide sale. There was a good attendance of buyers, and, iinder moderate competition, everything was sod at fairiy satisfactory prices. Spring-cart horses sold up to £30, dairy cows to £,5, and spring-drayp, harness, and sundries were quickly cleared at full market rates.
Immediately after Mr Sutherland's sale we held a clearing sale on account of Mr Louis Wraight, when wo submitted his selected and favourably-known team of horses, drays, spring-carts, harness, «tc. etc , for bona fide sale. There was a large attendance of buyers. The horses, drays, etc., were all put forward in first-rate order, and evoked very satisfactory competition. Young horses sold at £41 tn £45 ; aged do, £17 10a to £29 ; drays, at £10 to £15; harness and sundries all making full market values.
