The Three Liberal Premiers of New Zealand of 1906

Mr Seddon assumed office as Premier on May 1. 1891, and remained continuously in office till the day of his death, June 10, 1906. Mr Hall-Jones took office on the day following Mr Seddon's burial, June 22, retaining it until the return of Sir J. G. Ward. Mr Hall-Jones resigned on Angu3t 2, 1906, when Sir Joseph Ward -was sent for by His Excellency the Governor, and has assumed office as Prime Minister in the new Cabinet.
