Armour (Ltd.), the Swift Company, Cudahy, Nelson, and Morris, meat-packers, who were found guilty of accepting concessions from the Burlington* Railroad Company on their export shipments, also the Burlington Railroad Company, were* fined 15,000d0l each. George Thomas, a freight broker, wa6 fined 5000dol, and was sentenced to four months in the penitentiary, and L. Taggart, another broker, was fined 4000 dollars with thieo months in the penitentiary.
