No doubt if we were to get a spell of haxd frost thia would 6oou wither away, but at anyrate sheep and cattLe have got good covering to their bones thia year. A* Rockrandk Station some very good cattle wera brought in, from the Upper Taieri recently and branded, but owing to the lowprice which cattle are now bringing in the market, Mr Allan Boyd determined to hold them for a while. Roads.—All the ropda in the Deep Stream Biding, are at present in very good order, ine'uding the Dunstam track cvee the Lamrae-r-l&w, and the two district surfacemen, Me^sr* Blake and Ferguson, have earned 1 the thanks, of the residents here for the manner in. which they look after them.
