PROPOSED MAORI MEMORIAL.

WELLINGTON. June 18.

The Maoris intend to present Mrs Seddon with an address of sympathy and condolence. The Maoris also propose to collect subscriptions for the erection of a Maori technical school at Porirua to perpetuate the deceased statesman's memory. The Maoris are rehearsing laments to be chanted at the funeral. .
