THE' WEEK'S DREDGING RETURNS.

During the week ended Saturday, June 16 I returns were reported from the following dredges : — .

EEPOETS FROM WORKING DREDGES.

,_Tno return from the Paterson's Freehold No. 1 dredge last week was 16oz 6dwt, the No." Q dredge being credited with a like amount. The working time in the latter case was 129 hours. The secretary of the Bignell's No Town Company reports a return of 17oz ldwt for 163 hours' work. -, ,^%... The secretary of the-Kelso Syndicate wires a return of Boz odwt for 90 hours' dredgiig last week. Mr S. E. Brent, secretary of the Barewood Gold Mining Company, reports the following return of gold for the month of May: — 270z 7dwt of gold, from 100 tons of ere crushed; 16oz 15dwt 12gr, from 156 tons of tailings cyanided; — total, 440z 2dwt 12gr.
