THE TRIPLE ALLIANCE. ROME, April 25.
In the Italian Senate the Minister olj. Foreign Affairs (Count Guiociardini) re~ r marked that the conference at Algeciraaf was completely successful. He emphasised' Italy's sincere friendship for Trance, -andreiterated the Premier' 3 declaration regarding the Triple Alliance cabled on March 8 last, adding that Germany and Austria had recognised at the outset of the proposals' for the Triple Alliance that Italy's traditional friendship for Great Britain was calculated to enhance the value of Italy's adhesion.
BERLIN, April 26. Though official circles express satisiac-
.^., many the Berlin newspapers are dissatisfied with Count Guiceiardini's speech, and especially with his ignoring the Kaiser's telegram to Count Goluchowski, and its effect on the relations between Italy and Germany.
The Deutsches'Tages Zeitung says Italy is using the Triple Alliance springboard for a leap into alliance Britain..
