GORE STOCK SALES,
GORE, April 24. Thar a was a fairly large attendance at today's stock sale, vhen about SCOO sheep were offered. The sale was very satisfactory, aud nearly the whole of the entry changed hands at " prices quite en a par with late sales. Lamb 3of all descriptions sold well, end any forward 'ots realised high prices. Young «wes also sold well. Fat ew-es brought from 93 6d to 15s 6d ; two-tooth wethers from 12s lOd to 13s 6d ; two-tooth ewas, las to 17s Gd ; four-tooth ewes, 17s 2d to 18s lOd ; four, fix, and eight-tooth ewes, 133 6d to 16s 3d; soundmeuthed ewes, 10s 6d to 14s 6d ; aged ewes, 43 6d to C-5 Gd"; lambs, culls, 3s to Cs ; medium sort 3. 9s to 103 6d; forward, lla to 123 6d. Cattle Only a small lot v;ere yatdecT, and sales were lard to make. Fat bullocks brought from £6 to £8 10s. All other sorts were unsaleable.
