Forty-aeven birds were broody during the week. One bird died in Royd's peD, and one of Mra Studbolme's Acconaa had a leg broken in Tuesday's hailstorm. Conditions and number of pens for next competition will be decided on Thursday. Draft rules make it opsn to birds owned by competitors at time of entry, pedigree to be stated. The present-pro-pect is that over a hundred entries will be received, in which case «n experienced poultry keepe| will be placed in charge and special attention given to visitors during the exhibition.
