LONDON, January 9. The wool arrivals to date for the forthcoming sales total 288,500 bales, whereof 125,000 bales have been forwarded direct to the manufactureifi, leaving 165,000 available for eale. January 10. The Antwerp wool sales opened dull. Fine sorts maintained their prices, but crossbreds were totally neglected. Out of 1255 bales of La Plata 441 were sold. January 11. Towards the close of the Antwerp wool ealee there was a better disposition to buy. Out of 2480 bales of La Plata offered 1095 were sold. January 12. The Bradford wool market is strong, and there is good general inquiry. Fortyeixes, 17fd; others, unchanged. For the second and thiid seri-es of the London and colonial wool sale 6 tke quantities are fixed at 150,000 bales. The second wool sale of the season was held j this evening when there was a very large I attendance of Home and foreign buyeis. A

total of 8441 bales was offered. The condition of the bulk of the vrool was heavier than that at the December sale, there being an absence of the light showy parcels then keenly competed for. Prices ranged from par to a farthing decline on those obtained at last sales for coarse crossbreds, medium and fine crossbreds showing no change. The following prices were obtained: — Medium qxiality crossbred and medium halfbred, 9Jd to lOhd; coarse crossbred, 9d to lOd ; inferior crossbred, B^d to 92. ; good pieces, 7Jd to BJd; inferior do, 6£d to 7d ; locks, 4d to sd ; good bright lambs, 9Jd to lOd ; inferior do, 7d to Bd.
