• Messrs A.. Tapper and Co. (per Mr E. Eeillv) _ report:— Poultry: The market is fully supplied, and some agents are firding it hard to ■"■Jell old hens. Fortunately for our consignors llwe hold forward orders for hens, ducklings, goslings, turkeys, and young roosters. We gold during the past week — Hens, 70 at 2s 9d. 860 at 3s 3d, 29 at 3s &&; ducklings, in short " supply— we sold 42 at 5s 3d ; young roosters, in short supply— we sold 27 at 4s 6d, 45 at 6s; geese, 10 at 6s — all at per pair. We received no turkeys, though we have keen .. flem&nd. Eggs in keen demand; we sold our "- consignments from 9Jd to lOd per doz, and fcave just been favoured with, an outside order -for lOOOdoz at lt>ld. Export poultry: We shall be pleased to quote prices on. application.
