ANGLING COMPETITIONS.

The following are the results of the " bare fly competition held on the Waipahi River en the 9th November:— P. C. Murray, 7 fish, 28'b- Theo'fiore Murray, 4 fish, 16£lb; R. H. The second 'competition, held on the samo river the* following day, resulted as follows: — P. C. Murray, 15 fish, 391b; R. Spiers', 24 fish, 23£lb; Theodore Murray, 13 fish, 111b lOoz; W. D«llow, 6 fish, lllb; A. L.' Thow, 9 fish, 81b; F. I/adwag, 10 fish, 6|lb. The competition held on the Shag Rive* on the 9th November resulted as follows: — J. Barnes," 8 fibh, 511b; J.
