THE MAN OF PEACE.
The Kaiser at Dresden said his endeavour was constantly directed to the maintenance of peace. He exerted his whole labours and strength to that end. And at Berlin : " You have seen how we stand in the world. Then keep your powder dry, your sword keen, your eyes fixed on the goal, your muscles taut, and away with pessimists. I empty my glass to our people in arms— the German Army and the General Staff."
