The Appeal Court was engaged to-day in hearing an appeal from the decision of the Chief Justice and Mr Justice Cooper in granting the widow of the late Joha Plimmer £1000 out of the estate in addition to the annuity of £150 provided by tho will. Ihis was done under tha Testators' Family Maintenance Act, tbe^ court holding the provision of £150 was not adequate for the support of the widow of a testator who died worth £30,000. The executors of John Plimmer and the residuary legatees are appellants. Juds* ment reversed.
