Prime velvet and Tuscan, 3s 3d to 3s 4d; red sorts, 3<3 2d; good whole fowl wheat, 3s. Oats aro still improving, and any arrivals are easily cleared at — Milling, 2s; good feed, Is lid; inferior, 19 8d to Is lOd. Ryecorn, 2s 3d to 2s 6d. Barley. — Orders from the north still coming forward, alihough the demand for malting barley has fallen off considerably locally. Milling, 2s 9d. Feed barley is, however, wanted at 2s 6d. Chaff.— Market firm. Bright heavy, £3 10s to £3 12s 6d; medium, £3 to £3 ss; inferior, £2 10s; wheaten straw, £1 12s '6d; oaten straw, £1 15s. Prussian blue peas, 3s 9d per bushel. Turnips, 18s to 20s per ton. Maize, 4s. Syegrass. — Fair demand. We have sold at:) Farmers' dressed, light seed, Is 9d to 2s 3d ; 3s to 3s 9d; heavy-weights. 2s 9d to 3s 3dj machine dressed, 4s to 5s 6d; light seed, la 9d to 2s 3d ; heavy seed, 2s 3d to 3s. Carrots, 30s to 355. Cocksfoot. — Cocksfoot market remains strong. Farmers' lots, 3sd to 4Jd; machined, 5d to Sid. Linseed. — Scarce; nominal value, £13 ta £14, wanted. Chowings's Fescue. — Demand for this seeel is brisk, and price has gone up to 2id to 3(4 for machined seed ; farmers' lots, 14d to 2d. Potatoes. — Still firming, arrivals small. Prime Derwents, £11 to £11 6s; white sorts, £10 6s to £11. Rabbi tskins.— We hold weekly sales. Prime winters (selected) up to 2ld; suckers and runners, 4Jd to 6Jd ; summers, 7d to 9Jd; outgoing, 12Sd to 13M; early autumns, 12Jd to 13Jd; lafe autumns, 12Jd to 13Jd,autumn blacks, Hid to 12d ; early autumns, lid to 12d ; winters, 15d to lTd ; winter blacks, 31d to 35d ; incoming winters, 14d to lod ; early winters, lb^d to 16|d; silver greys, ug to 37d. We can supply rabbit and sheep netting, oil cake; farmers 1 Fairbanks 400lb scales, SB 10s; Crown sheep dip — casks 3s per gallon, drums 3s 6d; Berger's red and black sheepbranding oil, 4s per gallon ; Gibson's cattla brand. 9s for small, and 15s for large tinsi Newton's patent wool presses, £13 each ; clover, rape, and turnip seeds, all freshly lande*. Prices on application. Stack covers, 18 x 1&, 40s each. Grass Seed Cleaning.— Our machinery is u£ to date. We have just added a clover polisher; aud as we have a machine of the latest typ* for each kind of seed, we give from 5 per aent. to 10 per cent, better cleaning results, iban a machine which cleans all seeds. Wet *!so store seed free of charge until cleaneeJ* and keep same insured. Storing Grain.~We are prepared to store, receive, aud deliver, insure, with three months free storage, at 3d per sack. Section honey, 4s 6d to 7s per dozen. Beeswax, Is 4d, wanted. Eggs. — Fresh, 9d to 9Jd. Walnuts, 6s to 7d, wanted. Bacon.— Rolls, 6|d to 7d. Hams— 7Jd to Bd. Pigs. — For sizes up to 1601b, first-class dairyfed quality", 3|d; good" demand. Butter hoxes, with parchment linings, we can supply at 18s per dozen, Vickery's- egg preservative, 20s per case of 8 gallons. Poultry. — Apply for particulars for export. Fruit. — We receive consignments by every steamer from Australia, the Islands, and our own colony, and hold sales daily on arrival of consignments.
