CHURCH MISSION, WITH ST.MARY'S ORPHANAGE
The Sister Superior desires to gratefully acknowledge the following gifts: — Cakes for the children and clubs — Mesdames Braithwaite, Finch, Lo Keong, Lowry, Muller, Misses Allen, Cox; clothes for the poor — from Mesdames Hanlon White, Waters. Misses Allen, Chapman, Johnson, Brickell, Ward, Withers, Anon, Friend ; stretcher and mattress, Mrs James Smith ; coal, Mr Joachim ; case of oranges, Mr C. C. Graham. A most acceptale gift from Mrs Finch of a box of butter was omitted last month in the list of acknowledgments. There are 20 children in the homo now. The weekly needs are gifts of vegetables, jam, fruit, and buns and scones. Parcels, when not too great for the children to carry., can always be oalled for.
Monthly subscriptions to the getenance fund: — Per Miss Johnson, 14s; per Miss Behberg, £2 0s 6d ; mission service offertories, per Mrs Dunkley. £3, G. F., 10s.
