AUCKLAND, August 14.— Arrived: Star of Scotland, from London, via Australia ; Essex, from Britain, via Australia. WELLINGTON, August 11.— Sailed: 7.15 a m., Tomoana. for London. SYDNEY, August 10.— Sailed : Essex and Star of Scotland, lor Auckland. HOBART, August 10.— Arrived : 10 a.m., Athenic from London. She is to sail at 5 p.m. for Wellington. She has 14 passengers for Australia and 241 for New Zealand. INVERCA.RGILL, August 13. lhe s.s. Rim'i, which had been en the half-tide training ivali at Invercargill for the hotter part of last week, floated off on this forenoon's tide, and sailed for Dunedin. Previous attempts to tow her off had failed.
