Going out of the straight tho second time Freedom still had charge, but Find Out had run into third place, followed by Lamond, The Toiler, and Bellis. At the railway side The Toiler went up third. The last round was entered upon with Freedom still in the van, with the field well together. The Toiler headed Freedom at the far turn, but once the railway side was entered upon Bellis quickly went to the head of affairs, with Isis and The Toiler cose up. Than came Freedom and Find Out. Belhs swung round the turn in the van. and the last hurdle proving disastrous to Freedom, Bellis came out and won, hard held, by two lengths. Time, Smin 3|sec. Freedom and Equity were badly injured, and had to be destroyed.
