LONDON, June 26. Russia has still paid no compensation

for the sinking of the Knighi Commander. The Standard says that that fact that two British vessels have suffered by the attacks of Russian cruisers ought to make Britain's demands for reparation more stern. June 27. In the House of Commons Mr Balfourv the Premier, replying to Mr C. M' Arthur/ said the Government had the best reason for knowing that Russia disapproved ol the action of these cruisers in sinking ths British ships. The oiders transmitted to the Dneiper would render it quite im* possible for a repetition of these outraged against international law. The Russian cruiser Terek occupied six hours in sinking the Ikhoma, 150 miles north of Hongkong, on the sth inst.
