SUCCESSFUL PLOUGH TRIALS.

On Thursday last a very successful trial of the " Benicia " disc plough was held at the farm of Mr Thomas Parker, Stirling, in the presence of a number of interested! spectators. All expressed the opinion that the implement was the coming plough, and) far surpassed their expectations. The plough was sold on the ground to Mr: Parker. On the following day a further trial was given at Mr G. H. Gihroy's farm, similar results being obtained as on tho previous day. In this instance also the plough was sold, the purchaser being Sir Gilroy. Mr William Aitken. representing Messrs Morrow, Bassett, and Co., Dunedin (importers and sole agents for New Zealand), supervised the operations. Tho teams used at the trials were kindly lent 'by Messrs Parker and Gilroy.
