Fred Leslie has been ill, but is now quite well again. y" Fitzgerald's-''' Circus and Menagerie went direct from here to Singapore. The Royal Comics go to Westralia shortly, but Rose Mu3grove will have to stay in Sydney.

Allan Hamilton has secured a three years' lease of Hobart Theatre Royal from January 1 next.

Cleopatra, the serpent enchantress, Little Bonita, rifle shot Tom Leonard, Ted Herberte, Ted Sutton, and the MAuley sisters are in Brisbane with Ted Holland's Company.

The Van Biene Company is working overland from Brisbane to Sydney, and is advertised to appear at Maitland to-night.

Williamson's bio-tableau opens at Newcastle next Saturday evening.

Ma-rtyn Hagan is now running a variety company in Victorian smalls. It is mostly composed of the family, with the exception of Master Jack, who is at Melbourne Bijou.

Lennon, Hynian, and Lennon's Big Sensational Specialty Company is going to Westralia.

AndersDu's Company at Adelaide includes Frank Crossley, Hilda Fraser, and Walter Dalgleish. Brough-Flemniing Company advertised to open to-night with '"Beauty and the Barge." Nance O'Neil and company, including M'Kee Rankin and Mrs Henry Bracy, arrived here on Saturday last, en route to Melbourne. Nance stated to an interviewer that she- had brought everything necessary for producing "Camille,"' but owing to numerous recent productions of that piece has abandoned her intention. Pollards' Opera Company wao at latest farewelling at Perth. Tom Curran, Hoba Barlow, and Little Gulhvei are still with John F. Sheridan.
