MONTGOMERY'S PICTURES.
Mr Montgomery has decided to commence his Dunedin season with a special bargain mtitinee for school children, which will take place at the Princess Theatre on Saturday afternoon at 2.30. This will give- all childiem an opportunity of seeing the moving pictures, which, include scenes from all parts' of the globe. Mr Montgomery, who is well known to Dunedin playgoers, spares no expense in procuring the latest subjects. Among the jii&iuxfig Jj£, Jag shown iexQ fax the first
time will be a peiial set depicting the wort of the lifeboat crew of Worthing. These pictures met with a gieat reception at tin Opera House, Wellington,- and received veiy flattering press notices. The pictuie shows the coastguaidsxncn receiving the signal of distress, the huriying of the crowd to the lifeboat station, bringing out the boat and launching it in the teeth of a raging sea, the galiant crew on the way to rescue, and the saving cf the shipwrecked sailors. This picture was taken from the lifeboat station at Worthing by the Warwick Trading Company, by permission of the Royal National Lifeboat Association. Another long film depicts the playing cf "The Sign of the Cross in London. The evening performance will commence at 8 sharp. The box plan for both performances will open at- tho Dresden on ■Wednesday morning.
