The statement for the seventh week cf the New ZeaJand Utility Poultry Club's egglaying comoetition at Lincoln College shows that the total number of eggs during the weak was 353, making the total to date . 2083. The average for the week was 9.3, as compared with 9.1 for the previous week. The following are the highest on the list, the total given being for the seven weeks : — H. Hauke (Greytown). 23, total 189; A. M. Pnoe (Christehuroh), 27, total 170; John Mann (Templeton), 21. total 152; Edmond Wilder (Fernskle). 27, total 111; R. E. M. Evans (Christchurch), 15, total 110; H. S. Cox (Soekburn), 13, total 107; F. A. Rollinson (Kaiapoi), 7, total 103; A. H. Bristed (Christehuroh), 26. total 92. _ No eggs have yet been laid by the birds in six pens.
