CHARLTON CREEK GOLD DREDGING COMPANY.
The annual general meeting of shareholders in the Charlton Creek Gold Dredging Company was held in the office of the secretary (Mr W. Hoisted), No. 17 High street, on Wednesday, and was attended by half a dozen shareholders. Mr C. Leijon presided. The Chairman, m moving the adoption of the report (already pub'iphed* and balance sheet, stated that he was sorry more had not been done during the past year than was the case, but, as they all knew, the dredge, owing to the rotten state of the pontoons, had to lay up for a period of four months. Replanking had been carried out and the macnineiy put in order and the dredge was now in belter condition than probably she had ever been. Consequently during the coming year they should have a good run. and he hoped! that they wou'd once more be able to declare dividends.
The adoption of the report and balance sheet was seconded and carried.
The retiring directors, Messrs K. Ramsay and J. Spratt, were re-elected, as also were the retiring auditors, Messrs Crawford and Bartlem-an.
