A WIN FOR OTAGO. (From Our Own Correspondent.)

INVERCARGILL, June 5. The interprovincial .cross-country harriers run between Otago- and Southland to-day resulted in a win for Otago. The first men to arrive were Burk, Mace, Bonnin. and Love (Otago), followed by three Southlanders—Bust, Smith, and Nash. The pointe were: Otago 18, Southland 40. The positions of the first five men of each team are added together to get the total points. Burk and Mace 2, Bonnin 3, Love ♦, and the fifth man- of the Otago team coming in eighth gives the 18 points.
