LONDON, May 23.

Two thousand Japanese labourers in the island of Maini compelled the Korean labourers, by threats of death, to strike against a Russian overseer. There were several fatalities. The police and Militia from Honolulu restored order, and rescued the whites who were besieged in the town of Lahuna.
