Derby, to be run on the 31st inst., had an unbeaten record as a two-year-old, with five starts* including the Coventry StaV»<? at Ascot, where he defeated the then unbeaten Vedas, who won the Two Thousand Guineas on the 3rd of this month. In the Two Thousand Signorino finished secona and Llangibby third.
