Mr J. Goodger (Cromwell) reports -holding a •sre'ry satisfactory sale of. stock on account of jMr Moxmtney t at -±he farm, Bendigo, on 29th .. «A.pril. As «the stock was .known to be esceprtionally good, there -was keen competition for •the sheep vand cattle, -and record prices were pmade for this district in ewes, which sold .at -47s 6d, 31s 6d, 265. Sis 3d, 21s, 19s, ,and 17s ; lambs at 13s and 12s 6d ; cows at ,£8 And £7 . -15s. Ilorses "were difficult to sell, bnt ihe rlight -ones .were ( all disposed of, and as the .draught- -mares Are exceptionally goo 3 ones Mr Mountney -decided to take them to the farm - •he has purchased near .Milton.
