An ordinary meeting of the Otago Land Board was* held on Thursday ; present — The Coinmsisioher .of Crown Lands (Mr D. BarronV and Messrs W. Dallas, G. Livingston, J. Tough, and- J. Mackenzie? The- board considered the cases of 0. J. »n& E- W. Clunle, who hay© been called upon to sKow cause why tlieir leases over sections Ba- and 2a, Duncan Settlement, -should not be - declared forfeited for non-payment of rent. — -The leases were forfeited, subject to the a-p-piovsu-'xrf the Minister. - — E."~Ottrey, chairman of the Heriot Public Hall Committee, forwarded sketch, showing proposed site for the- Heriot Hall, town of Heriot. — Received. " ■ The board -was requested .to- authorise the receiver of land revenue to -deal with the sum of £211 12s, paid as valuation for improve- - ments on runs 226, 226f, and sections 86 and 82, block.l," St. Bathans district. — The receiver " -was authorised to pay the amount to Mr T. Keenan or his attorneys. Ranger MTJoujall wrote stating that G-.
