The total quantity of wheat and. flour afloat for the United Kingdom is 3,855,000 quarters, and for the Continent 1,765,000 quarters.

Stocks and Shares. — Bank 3 : Australasia, £93, National of New Zealand, £5 ss; New Zealand, £5 15s. The New Zealand Loan and. Mercantile Agency Company, £94. All others unchanged. Wheat. — An Australian cargo sold at 325. Copper.— Spot, £66 7s 6d; three months, £66 Us 3d.

The American visible wheat supply is 42,216,000 bushels.

Tb? Bank. of England returns show the i stock of gold coin and bullion to be £33,955,000; reserve, £25,629,000; percentage of reserve to liabilities, 50.79.
