GERMANY AND MOROCCO.
TANGIER, April 25. The tribes have been instructed to cordially welcome Herr Tattenbach, the temporary German Charge d' Affaires at Tangier. A reception in his honour is being prepared at Fez.
At the beginning of kisc week tiie number of patients remaining in the Dunedin Hospital was 96. During the week 23 patients were admitted, while 24- were discharged, and one death took place, the number remaining at the end of the week being 94-. The name of Guinness and LeCren (Limited) should have been mentioned in connection with the pictures of the Burwood sale which recently appeared in the Witness. The sale was entrusted to three auctioneers — viz., Wright, Stephenson, and Co., National Mortgage and Agency Company, and Guinness and LeCren. Canterbury buyeis taken down by Guinness and LeCren not only secured several lines ©£ sheep, but helped to keep up the prices for the others.
