THE SON, SUN SPOTS, EARTH, AND EVOLUTION.
By Chuistiax Thobbold.
As the time is fast approaching when
Tre, as a planetary race, will call upon "Hie sun and ether to perform all manner ©f work for vs — to propel our steamers, «rar vehicles, to lighten and brighten and
«qualise the burden of labour — it may in--terest some to learn a little more about the state of the great magnet which will help ■us onwards so much towards final harmony
and brotherhood. A grand new day of spiritualising light is dawning for us, when will no longer clothe herself in grave inconsistencies and long-worded expositions, but will rather show forth always that Nature, rightly understood, is simplicity itself. To make the future progression in science more clear- we may take as an example our present method of ob-
taining electricity from dynamos, in the construction of which most difficult for-
mulas are used. We shall yet obtain electricity, and even, perpetual motion, without
the aid of formulas, but with a simple "understanding of Nature at- work in our
solar system. There is something very ieautiful about the future progression, some-
l-hing that will lift us a little nearer towards
'that perfected life of a man who, understanding all life, principles, clothed Truth iji the" simplest of words, yet .in .linen ' gar'inents. strong and "white. As we progress "we shall 'likewise -cltiPso "more and more. I 'speak of the Christ of our earth. Now -about" 'the' sun.' The sun is the creator of
•our planetary chain, the -planets being all lOfifshoets from it, and dependent upon it
j£ot life and light. Ixxag -before our solar syslem came into being the sun itself was it planet, the offspring of a larger sun. It jiossessed a dual sex, oeing both father and mother, and when it h.ad matured as a planet the sun in turn became capable of producing a family of its own, just as Jupiter and Neptune are doing at the present time. Some of the earliest born children of the «un have disappeared, their souls only existing. Now about the sun spots. Although some of its offspring have disintegrated, the sun is still a planet and inhabited, which- may cause some to ask how can beings exist in such heat. The difficulty, like many others, is a manufactured
one, for the sun itself is not in a- state,of lieat, but is a cool planet like our earth. The- heal and the flames we know of proceed from a great magnetic sea far out-
side the sun's atmosphere. Our rdvancing .Irrowledge of etheral electricity will shortly prove how and why this is so. The so.called oun spots are not great magnetic storms that sweep around the sun's atmosphere, but are great craters formed at the giving birth to new planets, planets in a \erj different state from our own — baby planets that liad not yet reached the solid .state. Well, as the sun planet- revolves en its' day -of manyioilrs in. our time, these .jgreat craters at certain periods become risible through "the outer magnetic sea. It may interest- some to follow our own planet through its evolutionary changes, "aIL the planets having gone through the same progressions. After about one million 'years, our earth, still close to the sun, and 5n its babyhood, consisted -of a jelly-like substance, inhabited by jelly-like human,
animal', and planet life. There was no - lancf as we have it to-day, it being more akin to water. The humans were more
like fishes in manner of life, though, possess-
ing our form in general. They had three eyes. The remains of that third eye still
exists, as medical men know, in a depres-
sion in the frontal bone. There was no - atmosphere in those times. Later c n Nature caused- a disturbance in the ether, and ■ earth was set aflame, entering upon the
fire mist period, which lasted several cycles
Then the earth began to cool, and the in- . labitants with the planet became more material. Earth had now entered upon its metaliferous evolutions, and, as it cooled,
the atmosphere and the clouds came, and •water "began to gather in the hollows. To shorten these metaliferous periods it is suffi-
cient to know that earth was at one time
a mass of molten gold. Many cycles after came the Iron Age, into which we are well
advanced
The story of man's growth in
<Mrs, the Iron Age, is as follows. At the beginning of this age, man, taking on the
conditions of earth,
■was animal like, of
huge stature, without raiment, living on ' mineral, as there was no vegetable. Then dust began to accumulate, iron dust from • the meteors of the universe, and planet and vegetable life came into being, conditions: being made ready by Nature. In the prehistoric days of the Iron Age the birds and beasts took gigantic forms. The earth has snore than once completely changed its axes in this age, north becoming south and south north, as is proved by the finding «f tropical plants at tiie polar regions. At
the present time man is fast developing his spirituality, and in 100 years' tune men will be brothers ; Nature at woik through man and through earth is preparing the conditions. The grave error of the modern theory of evolution is that it represents man as evolving from birds and beasts. However, the inspiration of the old prophets of Scripture did not 'err, the error lying not in the inspirational truth of man's creation in the image of the Eloehim. the guardian angels of eartb from its birth, but in the inability of the then mind to clothe Truth ■uith full scientific details. Man has been man from the beginning of all created things on earth, a young soul sent to gain wisdom and knowledge and soul depth, &ent to grow with his planet. His body has partaken always of the earth state, and obeyed the laws that- governed that state, while his spiritual state has been what he made it. His body has been ethereal, material, densely material, till through soul growth the
material shall be rendered subservient to the spiritual in earth reincarnations, as was the Ohrists. The kingdom of heaven is A\ithin. A glance over the goings on upon our earth will show how Nature is preparing conditions for a better state, through man and earth. In the Southern Hemisphere, for certain reasons, the atmospheric electricity is very dense, very powerful — so much so that we may expect 'sooner or later eruptions to take place near cumulative points. Nature, always wise, has ) een compelled to cause irritation in the Northern Hemisphere, that electricity may be attracted there ; hence the .present disturbances and w.arfare. Nature is going to refine us and is at work for our upraising as a race, and Nature is God in low and humble forms."
