The following are the results of the first day of the Kumara Racing Club's meeting: —
Trial Stakes. — Inspai 1, Cairngorm 2, Ohio 3. Dividend. £1 7s
Trotting Handicap. — Little Polly 1, Rubin 2, Minnie May 3. Seven others started. Dividends, £4 2s and £2 8s Dillmans Handicap. — Apprentice 1, Pantaloon 2, Siandra 3. Three others started. Dividends, £1 17s and 12s.
Kumara Handicap. One mile and a-quarter. — Natalie 1. Cairngorm 2, Freeland 3. Also started: Hinetaupariki and Sympathy. A good race. Dividends, £4 Is and £1 9s.
Hurdle Race. — Tnspin 1, Sunmos 2, Zealous 3. Dividend, £1 Bs.
Kumara Trotting Handicap. — Royal Money 1, Protector 2, Forsaken Child 3. Dividends, £3 13s and £5 15s.
Flying Handicap. — Pure Silver I, Lacy 2, Hinerau 3. Dividend, £5 13s.
