REPORTS FROM WORKING DREDGES.

The secretary of the Paterson's Freehold Company reports a return of 28oz for the week from No. 1 dredge, and 18oz for the wek from 2To. 2 dredge.

The aecr&tary of the Lady Annie Company reports a return of 540z ldwfc for 136 hours' dredging.

The secretary of the Waikfia Company reports a return of 19oz lOdwt for 129 hours' ,-Wcrk.

A -wire from the master of the Chicago dredge reports a return of 40oz 6dwt. It is added that the ground, "which became poor during the ■week, had improved again.

The secretary of the New Fotirteen-mile Beach. Company reports a return of HOoz Sdwt for 151 hours' work. The dredgemaster 6tates that everything is working well.

The master of Bignell's No Town dredge reports a return of 30oz lSdwt for 118 hours' ■work. Under date 10th April he writes: "The •■wash on the bottom is solid right across from the north fo south side of the face, and at present there is not nearly so much, timber showing as was the case at the time of writing my last letter." Tho secretary of the Mokoia Company reports a leturn of ISoz of amalgam for 100 hours' dredging last week.

The secretary of the Three-mile Greenstone Company reports a return of l9oz 7dwt for SO hou-vs' dredging, and states that the ground

is becoming very rough, and is getting deeper.

The secretary of the No Town Creek Company reports a return of 31oz for 68 hours' dredging. The loss of time was caused through repairs being made to the ladder hangers.
