THE WRECK ON YORKE PENINSULA.

BRISBANE, March 23.

The Government steamer will not return from the scene of the wreck of a ship on Yorke Peninsula till Sunday. Nothing definite as to the identity of the vessel is known. The presence of sago suggests that she was trading with the East Indies. Th-ere are no signs of bodies or survivors. It is possible the vessel struck a reef in deep water, and that the survivors may be stranded on an island.
