At this week's meeting of the committee of the Dunedin Fanciers' Club, held at Mr S. S. Myers's rooms, Octagon, it was resolved that Messrs Daere, of Christchurch. Riley, of Dunedin, and Double. Invercar-
gjll, be appointed judges of the poultry nection; Mv Olifford-Bramah (Wellington), of dogs ; Mr Geo. Tomkins of canaries and pigeons, and Mr Ferguson of pets at tho ensuing ,how. The Hall Committee reported upon the difficulties in arranging for p'Vmises for the show, owing to the V^i ■- cultural Hall Annexes being enlarged ioi a skating rink, and upon their rccoinuonelation it was lecided to write ; o tho i"Oinmi«sion^i- of the Garrison Hall, asking permission to use same. Owing *o * inaction of one of the club's reprpse'itn^ivLon the X^w Zealand Kennel Club in \o"i 14 on Ih<? question of rho holding of 1 Ti^r. nel Club championship show in Wellington in opposition to tho interests of the combined societies, it was decided hat r'ro secretary write cancelling his appointment A coi-nnittce was appointed to arrange tl •> advertising, printing, etc., in connsj'loi with the show, and it was decided to hold the Usual art union. The Secretary reported that the schedule was well m i ao-1, the poultry sections hating been fit --lly arranged.
