The Advantages of Asbestos Paper. "* I r HE terrible nature of the flames in the D.I.C. (Wellington) fire can easily be judged by the rums ■** shown in the accompanying picture, and the Avoodwork marked Avith crosses effectively indicates the fire-resisting properties of Asbestos Wall Paper. Many of the Avails throughout the building Avere covered Avith this paper, and a survey of ths building after the fire gave conclusive evidence that it fully carried out all that Avas claimed for it. One Avail, which was partly covered by the paper, AA r as burned and charred right up to the edge of the section so coA'ered, this latter portion being almost uninjured. The lining of one window had Asbestos Paper on one side, and Avas unprotected on the other. The latter side was charred, Avhile the other side, when stripped of the paper, AA r as fresh and intact.
