CROMWEI/L. January 6. The weather has been very cold and boisterous during the holidays, but is now fine and -warm. The river is still keeping at a high level, but will likely fall steadily now if the weather keeps warm. A few dredges have made a st-art. The Junction Electric No. 2 dredge and the Rise and' Stiine Nb. 2 started' on "Wednesday.
