- - Sib, — I am giving up racing in England, and corning/out to New Zealand to take up riding and training. L. served my apprenticeship with the late Alec Taylor, and have 'ridden on j the . flat and over country in- Germany, and also acted as trainer to Major J. D. Edwards (owner of San Toi), having trained over 60 winners one season. I was trainer and steeple- j chase jockey for Captain Gordon, and the last j two years I lave had a small string of my j own. I am sailing from- Plymouth to-day, Sunday, on the R.M.S. lonic, due in Welling- ! ton about January 3. I will be pleased to take , an engagement for any gentleman in New Zea^ J land. My lowe-it riding weight is 8.4,"~ s and l am j prepared to ride on the flat or over-country. I would be pleased if you would give mie a little report in your valuable paper, which I have seen in England. Thanking you in anticipation. — I ana, etc.. . W.
