_ The contest between these -two clubs was •oncluded at the Caledonian Ground' onSaturday morning, resulting in a win for Otago by an innings and 75 runs. The ground was in good order. Siedeberg and Austin -i were unable to attend, and their places were taken by T. Adams (Carisbrook). »nd M. Chadwick (Opoho). . Shortly after 11 o'clock C. Hickeon; the not-out- man of the previous evening, went to the wickets, accompanied by Quee. . The former,- playing a dashing game, added 10 to his score, and was then bowled ■ by Downes. Upham, who followed, landed his first ball from th» same ,-bowler nicely into -the hands of Graham," at .square leg. Hales, the eleventh man,- also sent one- to Graham, ■who held it securely,- and the game ended, the visitors having made 124 runs in their second innings. Scores : -=■
