(/merican only), 22s to 23s 6d. Oranges: Messina halves, 11s to 12s 6d ; CaHfornian, in choice condition, 17s 6d, those "in bad order realising 8s to 15s. Lemons: Messuia haves, lls to 12s Gd- wholes, 21s to 22s 6d. Cherries: Canterbury and Toviot, 4£d to 6£d; Victorian, 6Jd to lOd per lb. Large supplies forward. ' Black currants, 2d to 3£d Strawberries : Waimate, 5Jd to 31Jd; Teviot, the same; locallygiown, 9d tq Is 4Jrl; latter price for choice Paxtons. Prices not so high this year, owing to increased quantity forward and cold, wet ■weather. Gooseberries, Id to ljd. Plums : Sydney, 5s fid to 7s 6d for half case. Bananas were in full supply. "Rarotongan realised 5s to 7s per case; ripe, 2£d. Oranges, 5s to 6s. Pines, 9s to 12s. Auckland consignment of bananas landed in poor condition, and sold at 3s to 6s per case. Tomatoes : Canterbury, 6Jd to B|d for hothouse ; Nelson, 6s to Ss per box. Grapes, 2s 3d to 2s 6d per Ib. Produce. — Potatoes : Peninsula kidneys, ljd to 2d per lb ; Oamaru, 9s to llq per cwt. Green, peas, Id to 2d per lb. Onions, £14 to i>ls, with a downward tendency. Butter: Fresh dairy (in full supply), s£d to 6M; separator, Brl to 9d ; salt has very little inquiry. Cheese : Fai mers', 4Jd ; factory, 4|cl. Pigs, 4cl. Bacon: Rolls, 6d to 7d ; bams, 7£d tc Bd. Poultry has been in full supply, and prices low in consequence. Hens. 2s to 2s 9d; roosters, 3s to 3a 9d ; ducks, light-weights, 3s to 4s ; heavy, 4 6d tD 5s 6d; turkeys, cocks, B£d to 10d: hens, s>:l to 7d.
