A DENSE FOG
COLLISIONS AND FATAL ACCIDENTS. LONDON.. December 22. A very dense fog stopped vehicular traffic* in London last night and disorganised the , railways. Pedestrians were hopelessly lost, and there were numerous accidents. Queen Alexandra was unable to travel lo fcsandringham. I The fog continues, causing great loss to j the London Christmas trade. ' The fog is general throughout England. Shipping in many ports is fog-bound, lfc was dense in London all day, but is now , clearing. Railway and street traffic was ■ completely demoralised. The crossChannel and Atlantic lines were much interrupted. Several marine collisions and fatal accidents are reported. i
