MELBOURNE, December 22. Hides: The closing sales of the year were very animated, and previous quotations were fully maintained. Prime stouts, 7d to 8d; stout, 6Jd to 7d; heavy, 4Jd to s£d; average medium, 4£d to 4|d. Tallow rates are unchanged.
