Evans (Christchurch) will meet in Wellington on January 2. Nine of the men who were asked whether they coulu go Home have not yet replied to the circular sent to thorn on the subject. WELLINGTON, December 23. Some feeling was created among footballers by the exclusion of Calnan, a wellknown Wellington player, from the list of men from whom the team for England will be chos&n. A special meeting of the Wellington Rugby Union was held to-night to consider the matter, and it was decided to interview the New Zealand Union and ask for the reasons of Calnan's exclusion.
