EXPORT OF PRODUCE,
A table has been compiled by the Department of Agriculture giving the quantity and value of certain exports passed through the Customs for the eight months ended 30th November: — Butter totalled 109,335cwt, valued at £572,970, as against 115 9Sscwt, valued at £?37.613 for the corresponding period of last year; cheese 28,195cwt, valued at £61,35*, against 26,459cwt, valued at £71,705, for the corresponding period of last yeai ; frozen beef, 123,456cwt, valued at £153,575, against 127,966cwt, valued at £169,997 for the corresponding period of last year; frozen mutton, 639,313cwt, valued ut ±'899,311. aeainst 795 ; 296cwt, valued at £959.496, for the corresponding period of hist year; frozen lamb, 358,110cwt, valued at £632,499, against 415-448cwt, valued at £658,480, for the corresponding period of last year. The wheat exported was valued at .£B4 488, against £6231 for the same period m 1903; oats at £155,633, against £343,835; and potatoes at £8122, against £11,60* L.
