Rule 3d of the New Zealand Trotting Association provides: — That every entry shall state the name, or assumed name, of the owner, the name, age, and description of the horse. Nominations for the Naseby Cup, Welter, , Jockey Club, District, Flying, Publicans' Handicaps, and ail Trotting Races will be received up till 8 p.m. on TJauRSDAY, sth January, -1905, at the Secretary's Office, Naseby. Nominations for the Selling Stakes, Trial, Novel, Farewell^ Handicaps, and Handicap Hack Race up till 8 p.m. on night of general entry, TUESDAY, 31st January, 1905. Handicaps 'for the Naeeby Cup, Welter Handicap and * Two Mile Trot will appear on WEDNESDAY, 25th January, 1905. Acceptances 'to be lodged with the Secretary on TUESDAY, 31st January, 1905, at 8 p.m. Handicaps for the Trial Handicap will appear on WEDNESDAY, Ist February, 1905, at 7 p.m.; acceptances 8 o'clock on the same night. Handicaps for the Flying, Jockey Club, and Novel Handicaps and One and a.-Half Mile >-Trot wih appear on THURSDAY, February 2, 1905, at 9 p.m.; acceptances at 10 o'clock same night. Handicaps for both One Mile Trots, District, Publicans', and Farewell Handicaps and Handicap Hack Race will appear on the coxirse. RULES and KE«ULATIOjVS. All nominations must be in writing, giving name, age, colour, and pedigree of horses, and must in all cases be accompanied with the necessary amount in cash. Nominators for Trial Handicap and) all Trots must state all previous performances. All horses nominated for ths District Handicap muat have been owned and trained in Lake, Vincent, Maniototo, Waihemo, or Waitaki Counties at least three months before the date of meeting. All horses nominated for the Trotting Races must have been owned and trained in the Lake, Vincent, or Manio.toto Counties, or in the Macraes Riding of the Waihemo County, or that portion of the Waitaki County within the Mount Ida Electoral District, at least three months before ilia date of meating. Horses running in District Races xattst be the property of owners nominating for fully three months prior to races. Horses nominated in any handicap except the Novel and Handicap Hack. Race are not eligible for list 7lb Hack Race. The winner of any race of the value of £20 or over after the appearance of the weights for the Naseby Cup and Welter Handicap to
