Messrs Sargood, Son, and Ewen's fine new building was opened on the 7th. Congratulatory speeches were made at the gathering, which was presided over by the Mayor, who incidentally mentioned that he had done business with the firm for 35 years. Mr P. Saffgoo'dl gave <an interesting speech concerning the growth of the firm's business 1 .
